Job summary

Brevco Services seeks a Principal ICT Systems Technician to design, verify and deploy moderately complex software configurations and to monitor system software for performance. The role includes on-site integration, on-call response, and collaboration with service teams.

Key responsibilities cover software installation, network maintenance, troubleshooting, and contributing to installation procedures. Mandatory experience includes 3+ years in ICT end systems and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational training with 3 years post-related experience (Mandatory)
• 3+ years experience implementing/maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization (Mandatory)
• Good experience configuring hardware and software (Mandatory)
• Strong ICT understanding and ability to work independently to solve problems (Mandatory)
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing technical end-user support (Mandatory)
• Hands-on end-user support experience (Nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Configure software for deployment and documentation of results
• Monitor and tune system software for throughput and efficiency
• Install and test new versions of system software
• Carry out network maintenance tasks and diagnose faults
• Provide on-site support and 24/7 on-call response as required
