Job summary

NCIM is seeking a Principal Technician (ICT Systems) to install, maintain and repair ICT systems. You will provide expert technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with trends to recommend improvements.

You will work as part of the on-site service team, handle hardware/software configurations, monitor performance, and assist in deploying engineering changes. Strong problem-solving and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

Higher vocational training or equivalent with relevant ICT experience.
Secondary education with substantial ICT experience may suffice.
At least 3 years of practical experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization.
Good experience configuring hardware and software.
ITIL foundation or advanced level training and certification.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair ICT systems and networks.
Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate with departments to understand technology needs and optimize ICT infrastructure.
Design, verify, document, and refactor moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
Monitor systems for resource usage and performance; tune accordingly.
On-site integrated team member; provide 24/7 on-call response and support at Level 2.
Assist in developing installation procedures and standards; document results and procedures.
