Job summary

GE Vernova Nederland B.V. in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) for ACS/FACTS/High Voltage Substations to lead EPC turnkey grid projects from Rijswijk.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget and risk, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with standards, and travel to site as required. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is advantageous, and PMI/Prince2 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project management within electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in turnkey projects, preferably high-voltage substations and related grid infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of EPC turnkey projects for high-voltage substations and switchgear.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across the lifecycle.
• Ensure alignment with processes, contractual requirements, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a matrix organization.
• Build relationships with customers and maintain a customer-focused approach.
• Apply electrical engineering knowledge to support planning and execution.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, issues, and interfaces.
• Communicate effectively with customers, site teams, management, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
• Promote safety culture and environmental, health, and safety integration.
