Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a focus on Medium Voltage to join the Arnhem team. You will design and implement secondary systems, create technical drawings, and perform relay calculations within a multidisciplinary context.

The role requires a strong background in Electrical Engineering (8+ years) and a proactive, team-oriented approach to deliver complex MV projects across the Netherlands and internationally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Medium Voltage.
• HBO/Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Proactive and solution-driven mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secondary systems, including protection, control, and SCADA systems.
• Prepare technical drawings.
• Perform relay setting calculations and coordinate protection schemes.
• Integrate and test secondary systems with primary equipment.
• Investigate and diagnose problems and recommend areas for improvement.

Meet your team:
Working within a multi skilled team of 6 Electrical Engineers this role reports into the Lead engineer. This is a proactive and diverse team that is focused on collaboration and team work. You will be working on some complex projects within the Netherlands and also internationally.
