As our Senior HR Business Partner you act as a strategic HR partner for assigned business units and leadership teams, translating business priorities into people strategies and organizational initiatives. Your role drives organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development, and change management while ensuring compliant and effective implementation of HR policies and processes.
Key accountabilities:
Strategic HR partnership
- Acts as strategic HR partner for managers and leadership teams within assigned business areas.
- Translates business priorities into HR initiatives and organizational development plans.
- Advises leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and people-related risks and opportunities.
Organizational Development & Change Management
- Leads and facilitates organizational changes, restructurings, and culture initiatives.
- Supports leadership teams in driving organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Implements change management approaches to support business transformation.
Talent, Performance & Leadership Development
- Drives performance management, succession planning, and talent development within assigned business units.
- Coaches managers on leadership effectiveness, employee development, and performance improvement.
- Identifies capability gaps and supports development strategies.
HR Governance & Employee Relations
- Ensures effective implementation and governance of HR policies, labor legislation, and HR processes.
- Advises managers on complex employee relations and labor law-related topics.
- Supports reorganizations, consultation processes, and workforce-related changes.
Stakeholder Management
- Builds strong relationships with leadership teams, managers, employees, HR colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Acts as trusted advisor and manages stakeholder expectations across different organizational levels.
- Facilitates alignment between HR priorities and business objectives.
HR Analytics & Workforce Insights
- Analyzes workforce trends, absenteeism, turnover, and organizational data to identify risks and opportunities.
- Translates HR metrics into actionable recommendations and improvement initiatives.
- Supports data-driven workforce and organizational decisions.
- Leads or contributes to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives related to organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and HR process optimization.
- Drives standardization and improvement of HR practices and ways of working.
EHS
- Follows all applicable safety procedures and instructions, uses PPE correctly, and immediately reports unsafe conditions or environmental incidents.
Your profile:
Work and thinking level
- Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field
- Strong understanding of strategic HR management, organizational development, and workforce planning
- In-depth knowledge of labor legislation, employee relations, and change management
- Broad understanding of talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness
- Ability to translate business strategies into HR and organizational initiatives
- Understanding of HR analytics and data-driven workforce decision-making
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within complex or regulated environments
- Proven experience as HR Business Partner supporting leadership teams and managers
- Experience leading or supporting organizational change, restructurings, and transformation initiatives
- Experience advising on complex employee relations and labor law matters
- Experience in talent management, workforce planning, and leadership development
- Experience working with Works Councils and stakeholder management in matrix organizations is preferred
- Strong strategic advisory and business partnering skills
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships across different organizational levels
- Strong organizational sensitivity and political awareness

- Employment for 32-40 hours per week.
- Salary between € 5.290,02 and € 7.604,37 (based on full-time employment).
