Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Senior HPC Linux DevOps Engineer to join the R&D IT HPC team. You will design, implement, and automate large-scale HPC and VDI environments, focusing on reliability, scalability, and continuous delivery.

You will collaborate across global teams, develop automation frameworks, and contribute to agile workflows to support design engineers. This role emphasizes hands-on development, problem solving, and proactive optimization in a dynamic, multi-cloud setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-7 years in DevOps, automation or platform engineering roles.
• Strong scripting/automation with Python, Bash, Perl or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation for Linux systems and HPC services at scale.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Develop and maintain configurations, base images and deployment strategies.
• Create reusable automation libraries and tooling to reduce manual work and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver HPC and VDI solutions for R&D engineers.
