Job summary

Sioux is seeking a High-Voltage System Architect to lead the electrical architecture for advanced electronics in high-tech systems from Eindhoven. You translate customer needs into robust, scalable HV architectures and own the design lifecycle from concept through validation.

You’ll guide cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and advise on strategic technology choices. The role offers a strong development environment in the Brainport region with close customer collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in electronics or electrical engineering with at least 10 years of experience, incl. Architect role.
  • Multiple years of high voltage system design and development (high precision, low power, high stability).
  • Solid knowledge of safety standards IEC 61010 and IEC 62368.
  • Understanding of partial discharge and insulation reliability in HV precision systems.
  • Experience with SPICE-based circuit simulation and analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking, hands-on prototype build and measurement ability.
  • Excellent communication with internal teams, customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive system direction by translating customer needs into robust, scalable electronics architectures.
  • Own technical responsibility end-to-end from concept to validation, ensuring performance and compliance.
  • Act as primary technical interface to stakeholders, aligning decisions with strategic goals.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentoring engineers and raising overall competence.
  • Shape feasibility and direction by defining concepts, assessing risks, and providing cost and planning estimates.
  • Advise on strategic technology choices, guiding architecture and capability development.
  • Drive system integration and acceptance with knowledge transfer and customer capability building.
