Job summary

Sioux Technologies Germany is seeking a High-Voltage Hardware Designer in Eindhoven to design, develop and integrate high voltage systems for precision equipment. You will focus on accuracy, low power and stability while collaborating with engineers across disciplines.

You will guide junior engineers, contribute to knowledge expansion, and work with customers on innovative high-tech projects in a dynamic Brainport region environment.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in electronics or electrical engineering with at least 7 years of work experience.
  • Several years in high voltage system design and development with high precision, low power and high stability.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and electronics standards (IEC 61010 / IEC 62368).
  • Knowledge of partial discharge and insulation reliability in HV precision systems.
  • Experience with simulation/analysis of HV circuits in precision equipment (SPICE-based tools).
  • Analytical thinker with practical prototype build/measure skills and good communication with stakeholders.

Full time Bachelor Eindhoven As a High-Voltage Hardware Designer, you design advanced electrical solutions for high-tech systems and products. In this role, you support our customers with electrical concept and design for high-tech systems where speed, accuracy, power, and efficiency play an important part. You’ll work for renowned customers in the Analytical, Semicon and Medical market, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your electronics expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, like electron microscopes, advanced pick & place machines, and medical systems. What excites you as a High-Voltage Hardware Designer? We develop advanced systems where we must get the utmost performance out of electronics, both in speed, accuracy, power, and efficiency. Our electronics team has expertise in the development and industrialisation of precise and stable high voltage sources, low noise analog electronics, highly accurate and fast AD/DA conversion, and high-speed digital electronics. As High Voltage Hardware Designer You Are responsible for the design, development and integration of high voltage systems within precision equipment. Focus on high accuracy, low power, and exceptional stability. Enjoy working in a team and getting the maximum out of it together. Have variety, by working on one or multiple projects simultaneously and working on different technologies for various applications and markets. Guide colleagues and junior engineers in their projects and coach them to further develop their (technical) talents. With your experience, you contribute to expanding the knowledge within Sioux.   • Experience with simulation and analysis of high-voltage circuits in precision electronic equipment (e.g. using SPICE-based tools)
  • Demonstrable analytical skills, able to think in concepts and good practical skills (build and measure prototypes)
  • Excellent communication skills, both with internal stakeholders and with customers and suppliers
