Job summary

Qualinx seeks an experienced GNSS Engineer to own the end-to-end receiver software architecture, including acquisition, tracking, and navigation. You will shape low-power, high-performance GNSS chipsets, balance performance with silicon constraints and drive impactful algorithmic decisions.

You will mentor engineers, translate product requirements into scalable software, and collaborate with product management to differentiate our technologies in the market.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or related field.
• 10+ years GNSS, wireless communication systems, or signal processing experience.
• Proven GNSS system design and product development track record.
• Deep understanding of the GNSS signal processing chain: acquisition, tracking, measurements, navigation.
• Embedded C/C++ on RTOS/bare-metal platforms; MATLAB and Python for modelling.
• Experience with full chip/product lifecycle and low-power embedded design.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end GNSS receiver software architecture (acquisition, tracking, navigation, PNT).
• Lead architectural decisions for low-power, high-performance GNSS chipsets.
• Translate product requirements into scalable software architectures.
• Drive design trade-offs across algorithms, hardware acceleration and system limits.
• Oversee GNSS algorithms in embedded C on RTOS/bare-metal and FPGA.
• Mentor engineers and contractors; set direction and review architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with product management to shape feature roadmap and differentiation.
