Job summary

Qualinx B.V. in Delft is building the next generation of GNSS and IoT connectivity. We seek a senior embedded software engineer to design, implement, and optimize embedded software for our Digital RF platform, collaborating with hardware and software teams to improve power efficiency.

You will own parts of the codebase, mentor junior engineers, and write unit tests. Proficiency in embedded C, Python, ARM Cortex-M, and RTOS, plus fluent English communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or related
• 10+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer
• Proficiency in embedded C programming with debugging skills
• Proficient in Python programming
• Knowledge of ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Signal processing experience

Responsibilities

• Understand user requirements and make specifications for embedded applications
• Write, debug, and trouble shoot C code
• Design, develop, and implement unit tests and functional tests
• Improve critical parts of our code for speed or power consumption
• Interact with hardware engineers, application software engineers and lead engineers for product development
• Maintain our embedded software products
• Mentor junior team members
