Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Senior Manager to lead key elements of its worldwide compliance program within GTC. You will guide sanctions, export controls, screening, and valuation activities, aligning with legal and business teams across regions.

In this role you will drive risk assessments, implement data-driven processes, and advance automation and analytics to enhance efficiency, scalability, and regulatory adherence across Amgen worldwide.

Qualifications

Experience in risk management, regulatory affairs, audit, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of BIS and OFAC sanctions regulations and the 50 Percent Rule.
Experience conducting ownership due diligence and beneficial ownership investigations.
Ability to synthesize, analyze, and communicate complex compliance data to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise framework for screening counterparties, transactions, and ownership structures under OFAC and BIS rules.
Manage global clinical trial customs valuation program and annual true-up process.
Leverage AI and analytics to improve monitoring, risk assessment, and efficiency.
Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, product launches, and supply chain changes.
Lead multiple complex initiatives in a dynamic global environment.
Foster a culture of ethics, integrity, and continuous improvement.
