Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Sr. Manager Global Payroll & Mobility Tax to oversee the global payroll process across our multinational project-driven organisation.

You ensure accurate processing of salaries, wages and allowances, and align payroll with local legislation, mobility tax and social security requirements. In this role you lead Global Payroll Services, manage external providers, and partner with Global Mobility and the Tax team to deliver compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, economics or accounting.
• 10+ years of international payroll experience in multinational project-driven organisations.
• Strong knowledge of global payroll, international mobility tax, social security and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting, financial reporting, control, risk management and data analysis.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global Payroll Services and manage external payroll providers.
• Ensure payroll systems are used effectively while meeting security and GDPR requirements.
• Provide clear advice and information to employees and stakeholders on payroll and mobility tax.
• Drive onboarding and offboarding of payrolls on international payroll platforms.
• Coordinate cross-border payroll, wage tax, social security and pension positions for international assignments.
• Use payroll data to identify risks, insights and opportunities for improvement.
