Job summary

Vistra Netherlands is seeking a Senior Payroll / HR Consultant to support client portfolios with end-to-end payroll processing and HR advisory in a dynamic environment.

You will drive onboarding, ensure compliance with Wage Tax, Social Security, Dutch employment law, and manage relationships with high-profile clients. We value sales, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration, with flexible work options and growth within a global firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar payroll/HR role in professional services or financial institutions.
• Experience coaching junior payroll team members preferred.
• Proven sales upselling and client relationship management skills.
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in HRM, Economics, MER or Payroll fields.
• Strong knowledge of Wage Tax, Social Security, HRM and Dutch employment law.
• Familiarity with pension, 30% ruling and WKR regulations.
• Strong ICT skills and commercial acumen.
• Organizational sensitivity in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication in English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with quality-focused delivery.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating onboarding processes for new clients.
• Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing for high-profile clients.
• Advising on HRM, Social Security, Wage Tax and related areas.
• Advising on occupational health and safety practices.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell products/services to clients.
• Contributing to development of add-on products/services.
• Guiding payroll software transitions with efficiency and expertise.
• Managing relationships with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
• Serving as the primary contact for external parties, including Dutch tax authorities.
