You will drive initiatives end-to-end from PRD to production, using AI coding agents with Kotlin/Spring Boot backend, Angular frontend, and Kafka-based event sourcing in a Kubernetes/GCP ecosystem.
You will own design, build, release and operations in small teams, coordinating migrations, feature flags and rollbacks, while collaborating with an international team across CET hours.
Senior Fullstack Product Engineer (Fullstack, AI-native) Remote (Netherlands) | €100k | Take initiatives from PRD to production with AI coding agents for a trading SaaS | Fintech / trading | CQRS, Kafka, Angular, Kotlin, GCP
Do you enjoy owning an initiative end to end, from PRD to production, instead of just shipping code? Do you get energy from building event-driven systems with Kafka, CQRS and event sourcing?
Our client is a fast-growing fintech start-up building a SaaS platform for high-frequency, high-velocity traders. The platform empowers more than 10,000 active traders in over 100 countries to monetize their trades efficiently and securely. The backend consists of 20 microservices built in Kotlin with Kafka as the messaging layer, all hosted in GCP on Kubernetes. The company is in a maturing phase: the real-time, high performance platform is live and growing, and there is a lot of room to drive new initiatives.
As a Senior Product Engineer you take product initiatives from PRD to production, using AI coding agents to deliver fast without cutting corners. Think new challenge plans, and integrations with new trading platforms or external systems. You turn a PRD into a technical design first, deciding which services, events and read models change and how the change rolls out, then build it across the stack: Kotlin and Spring Boot on the backend, Angular and TypeScript on the frontend, with Kafka for event sourcing, CQRS and event-driven architecture.
You run several agents like Claude Code in parallel, split work into well-scoped tasks, give them good context, and review and verify everything they produce. 'The agent wrote it' is never an excuse. You work by the test pyramid, plan safe releases with migrations, feature flags and rollbacks, and pick up production incidents and alerts independently.
