Qualifications

10+ years working experience within the JVM ecosystem (Java 21+).
4+ years of experience with Angular (version 15 or higher).
3+ years of experience leading teams & driving Developer Enablement.
Experience with Public Cloud (GCP is a plus).
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins).
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 5+ engineers and work with product management.
Hands-on coding (approximately 40-50%).
Technical architecture, code reviews, mentoring of mediors and seniors.
Hiring and toolchain innovations.
Performance reviews and 1:1s with engineers.
Work on greenfield projects from design to implementation.

Overview

Are you looking to join a fast-scaling, well-funded B2B SaaS start-up that is planning to double its engineering team? Our client is a product company in the travel tech industry that helps remote-first companies stay compliant while they scale.

Working here means you’ll have the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world while architecting & building greenfield products and features. As the company is growing rapidly, new teams are being formed to drive innovation. This includes technical enablement of the team, creating new PoCs, AI-assisted coding (Claude AI) building MVPs, and launching new product lines to further expand the platform.

As a Principal Fullstack Developer, you will work on greenfield projects. You get the chance to develop end-to-end solutions, from design to implementation. You’ll be leading a team of 5+ engineers and work alongside the product manger and report directly to the Head of Technology. Your job includes hands-on coding (40-50%), Technical Architecture, Code reviews, Mentoring Mediors & Seniors, hiring of new colleagues & toolchain innovations. You will additionally do performance reviews & 1:1's with the engineers.

You will get a salary up to €100.000 + €20.000 stock options, the ability to work 180 days outside of your country of residence, €200 euros of compensation to spend on subscriptions and of course the possibility to join a great SaaS Startup journey.
