Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is seeking a Senior Fullstack Product Engineer (Remote, Netherlands) for a fintech trading SaaS. You will drive initiatives end-to-end from PRD to production, using AI coding agents with Kotlin/Spring Boot backend, Angular frontend, and Kafka-based event sourcing in a Kubernetes/GCP ecosystem.

You will own design, build, release and operations in small teams, coordinating migrations, feature flags and rollbacks, while collaborating with an international team across CET hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development in a statically typed language (Kotlin/Spring Boot)
• 3+ years production systems with event sourcing, CQRS, Kafka
• Experience with Angular or React + TypeScript; willing to work in Angular
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools like Claude Code; parallel agents in production
• Proven experience in small teams or startups owning design, build, release, ops

Responsibilities

• Own initiatives from PRD to production using AI coding agents
• Design services, events and read models; implement across the stack
• Use Kotlin/Spring Boot on backend and Angular on frontend; Kafka for event sourcing
• Review and verify agent outputs; ensure quality beyond AI-generated code
• Plan migrations, feature flags and rollbacks; handle production incidents
