We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who will design, build, and maintain highly-scalable, distributed ML systems and lead the development of business-focused models that directly drive product growth and revenue.

What are we looking for?

• PhD or MS in machine learning, computer science, statistics, or other highly quantitative fields
• 5+ years of professional experience (if applicable).
• Hands-on experience in designing and building highly scalable distributed ML models.
• Excellent software design and development skills in Python along with SQL.
• Solid understanding of various software engineering best practices and their appropriate application.
• In-depth knowledge of deep neural networks, classification and regression techniques, and natural language processing.
• Experience with recommendation systems for gaming, e-commerce, social media, or other entertainment platforms.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms and their implementation in machine learning models.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience with big data frameworks, especially in combining extensive datasets.
• Expertise with Kubernetes and overall AWS deployments.
• Demonstrable experience in building and developing ML algorithms.
• Proven experience producing computationally efficient software to meet real-time requirements.
• Proven experience integrating Large Language Models into real-time business applications.

What will you be working on?

• Exciting problems for recommendations to improve the user experience.
• Designing and implementing state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, some of them involving LLMs, in distributed machine learning frameworks.
• Conducting experiments to evaluate model performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Developing and maintaining documentation for models, datasets, and experiments.
• Work with data scientists and software engineers to build and improve machine learning systems.
• Collaborate closely with product, and trust & safety teams to ensure recommendations enhance both user experience and platform safety.
