Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team in Amsterdam. You will provide financial analysis and forecasting support to drive strategic decision-making across the Marketplace Business Unit.

You will bridge data insights with business needs, develop robust reports, and participate in ad-hoc analyses as the organization grows. A strong analytical mindset and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to connect the dots and reconcile multiple data sources.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to different audiences.
• Self-driven mentality, proactively solving problems.
• Experience with SQL / Python / data analytics tools.
• Ability to understand and advise business partners.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting, variance analysis and reporting of financial performance.
• Contribute to robust, scalable reporting of key metrics.
• Deliver insights to support FP&A and business partners.
• Provide analytical support for strategic decision making.
• Continuously improve reporting to fit evolving requests from senior management.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and benchmarking as needed.
