Job summary

NewRocket is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers, deploying Claude-powered workflows, integrating ServiceNow, and scaling AI-driven processes. The role is customer-facing, blends full‑stack engineering with prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic solutions.

This remote position requires travel about 25%, with opportunities to influence platform accelerators, build reusable components, and partner with Anthropic.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in software engineering or related technical delivery roles.
• Hands-on full‑stack development, scripting, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered apps, RAG, agentic workflows, and production support.
• Experience integrating APIs, enterprise apps, data platforms, or workflow systems.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) experience.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, context windows, embeddings, and tool usage.
• Clear communication and client-facing delivery experience.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operationalize AI workflows and integrations in customer environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures and production-ready AI solutions.
• Build AI apps and workflows using Claude, Anthropic API, and other LLM platforms with prompt engineering and RAG.
• Design and implement RAG solutions grounded in enterprise data and knowledge sources.
• Create demos, prototypes, and proofs-of-concept for rapid customer validation.
• Develop secure integrations, microservices, scripts, and lightweight UIs linking ServiceNow and data platforms.
• Apply best practices for authentication, authorization, secrets management, logging, and observability.
• Establish testing approaches, data protection, human-in-the-loop patterns, and responsible AI safeguards.
• Contribute reusable assets and accelerator content to NewRocket’s AI products.
