R2, a fintech-focused scale-up, seeks a Principal Product Manager (IC5) to own complex product areas end-to-end, driving measurable business outcomes with Engineering, Data, Risk, and Commercial teams. The role offers high autonomy and influence on strategy while staying hands-on in execution.

This position targets a product leader who thrives in fintech, understands credit, payments, or financial infrastructure, and translates ambiguous problems into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management in fintech, financial services, or financial infrastructure.
• Ownership of complex, high-impact products in regulated environments.
• Experience with Engineering, Data, and Risk teams on technically sophisticated systems.
• Autonomous, decisive, and accountable for outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Portuguese.
• Strong analytical, structured thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Own a core product domain (Credit, Risk, Payments, Core Platform, or Partner Integrations) with clear accountability for outcomes.
• Define multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap aligned with objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and size opportunities using market insights and data.
• Lead end-to-end discovery and delivery from problem framing to rollout and optimization.
• Produce clear product artifacts (PRDs, user stories) for autonomous engineering execution.
• Negotiate priorities balancing customer value, risk, regulation, and business impact.
• Partner with Engineering leadership to ensure predictable delivery and platform health.
• Define success metrics and use data to inform decisions and improve performance.
• Collaborate with Data, Risk, and Analytics teams for measurement and feedback loops.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to validate assumptions.
