IMPROVEN in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Consultant in Financial Management to strengthen client finance functions, linking strategy, processes and people for sustainable improvements.

You will lead initiatives across financial control, governance and performance management, collaborating with stakeholders from controllers to board. The role emphasizes tangible delivery and change embedding within client organisations.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years in consultancy, accountancy or finance.
• University degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accountancy or similar; RA/RC training.
• Knowledge of Management Control, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.
• Experience improving financial processes, reports, governance and AO/IC.
• Affinity for financial information systems and data-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Optimisation of financial processes; redesign P2P and R2R for efficiency and control.
• Set up Shared Service Centres; centralise tasks and standardise methods.
• Reorganise financial governance for transparency and control.
• Set up Planning & Control cycles with budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Improve reporting and performance management with dashboards and KPIs.
