Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Business Controller AN Logistics to be based at the Breda location of Abbott Logistics BV. The role partners with logistics and finance to deliver data-driven insights, supporting planning, forecasting, and month-end close while driving profitability.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in financial planning and analysis, a Master’s degree in economics/business administration, and strong Excel/PowerBI skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics or business administration or equivalent
• 3–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, scenarios), PowerBI, and PowerPoint proficiency
• Fluent in English; Dutch language preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted business partner to logistics and financial leadership
• Analyze large, complex data sets to develop solutions that improve profitability
• Prepare and deliver reports for planning, forecasting, Balance Sheet and P&L management
• Participate in Month-End-Close and Year-End-Close activities, including journal entries and intercompany billing
• Apply rigorous analysis to support accurate bottom-up planning and audit-proof documentation
• Maintain organized data access for AN Logistics management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting accuracy and standardization
• Collaborate on cross-functional improvement projects
