Job summary

AbbVie in the Netherlands is seeking a Regional Transportation Manager to optimize delivery of products to affiliates, regional customers, and patients. You will lead regional transportation operations, model logistics scenarios, and drive cost-effective solutions within a global supply chain.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, maintain KPIs, and negotiate contracts. A strong background in logistics and international program leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• MBA is a plus.
• Fluent in English and the region's primary language.
• 8–10 years in logistics planning, distribution and transportation.
• Experience with 4PLs and international teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize regional logistics strategies to meet service goals.
• Lead transportation operations and vendor sourcing across geographies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Finance and QA.
• Manage KPI measurement and continuous improvement with 3PLs.
• Negotiate contracts with external freight providers.
