Job summary

Olympus Nederland B.V. seeks an experienced Financial Accounting & Tax Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and robust financial processes across North Europe and EMEA Finance.

The role covers closing, statutory reporting, audits, and tax governance, including transfer pricing, while driving process improvements and standardization across the region.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with local GAAP and IFRS application to business scenarios.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills to navigate complex financial information.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, countries and cultures.
• Fluent in English and Dutch language skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end financial controlling for 1–3 entities in North Cluster.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits with stakeholders.
• Manage statutory and tax reporting, including transfer pricing governance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closings in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are complete and accurate, coordinating with SSC.
• Monitor data quality in compliance with external regulations and J-SOX.
• Collaborate with FP&A teams on reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Contribute to harmonization and standardization initiatives across EMEA.
