Job summary

Futurewhiz is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to build a scalable financial foundation for growth across Squla and StudyGo brands. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
• At least five years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or audit.
• Experience leading monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Ability to independently assess complex accounting matters.
• Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with financial systems.
• Experience improving or automating financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and annual closing processes.
• Oversee the quality of journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations and financial statements, with a focus on material and complex areas.
• Ensure accurate and compliant IFRS reporting to shareholders.
• Lead the year-end audit and coordinate external auditors.
• Coordinate with tax advisors and ensure tax compliance by providing complete, accurate and timely financial information for tax reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.
• Use automation and AI to reduce manual work and improve reporting quality.
