Role Summary
For our RHQ Finance Team in Delft we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager for EU/CIS region whowill beresponsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, managing annual reporting, strengthening internal control systems, overseeing day-to-day financial activities, participating in cross-departmental projects, and managing treasury functions.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead and collaborate across various departments and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end closing (MEC) activities and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial records are accurate, complete and delivered on time
- Own the preparation, review and submission of financial statements, statutory accounts, and other regulatory filings to relevant authorities.
- Oversee risk management activities and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with both IFRS (for HQ reporting) and Local GAAP requirements.
- Drive process improvements across finance operations to achieve efficiency, standardization and control.
- Support finance activities for smaller European entities as required, ensuring consistent reporting and operational support across locations.
- Collaborate closely with Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and non-finance departments to align reporting, planning, and compliance activities.
- Lead and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Strong accounting background with solid technical knowledge and hands‑on financial accounting experience.
- Preferred qualifications include AA or RA (Registered Accountant in the Netherlands), CIMA, or ACCA.
- Demonstrated experience with IFRS and Local GAAP reporting requirements.
- Experience working with Dutch tax authorities is beneficial (not required to be a Tax Specialist).
- Proven track record in leading audit activities, month-end closing, and year-end closing processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
- Strong leadership experience, including managing teams of at least 5 people, ideally in a global or matrixed organization.
- Experience in multinational environments, with exposure to diverse and Asian corporate cultures.
- SAP experience is preferred;
- Dutch and English language proficiency is required
