Job summary

Alistar is seeking a Senior Finance Consultant to apply extensive financial knowledge and ERP experience to help clients optimize processes within Business Central. You will analyze complex financial scenarios, advise on configurations, and drive successful implementations across client sites in the Netherlands.

You will take ownership on projects, conduct thorough testing before go-live, and guide customers through transitions with clear training.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance and ERP implementations.
• Strong consulting skills to guide clients through decisions and explain complex topics clearly.
• Willingness to work on-site at client locations in the Netherlands and travel as needed.

As a Senior Finance Consultant at Alistar, you’ll use your financial expertise and ERP experience to help clients move forward. You’ll analyze complex financial processes, advise on the best setup, and translate that into a forward-looking solution in Business Central, potentially supplemented with Fuel Vision and Tug Vision. You’ll have the freedom to take on responsibility, challenge clients with substantive insights, and share your expertise with colleagues. Your Role as a Senior Finance Consultant

Analyze financial processes and complex issues and translate them into clear, forward-looking solutions

Advise clients on choices regarding their financial processes and the optimal configuration within Business Central

Configure Business Central based on strong financial expertise, supplemented by Fuel Vision and Tug Vision where relevant

Take responsibility within implementation projects and ensure that processes and systems are thoroughly tested before go-live

Guide customers through the transition to the new system and ensure a smooth start

Engage key users in new processes and work methods through clear training sessions and practical workshops

Identify opportunities for improvement that go beyond the original request and help customers organize their processes in a smarter and more efficient way

Actively share expertise with colleagues and draw on experience to contribute to effective solutions and successful projects

What are you bringing?

10+ years of experience in finance, combined with experience in ERP implementations

A solid financial foundation and the ability to quickly grasp complex processes

Experience with Business Central is a plus; relevant expertise with other ERP solutions in finance is also valuable

Strong consulting skills to guide clients through decision-making and make complex topics easy to understand

Independence and ownership in projects, combined with a strong collaborative approach

A proactive approach that allows for the timely identification of opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement

Interest in further deepening professional knowledge and sharing expertise with colleagues

Willingness to regularly work on-site at client locations in the Netherlands
