Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a qualified Finance Professional to act as a trusted partner for Netherlands entities, coordinating with the Financial Controller across Lelystad and Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. You will deliver timely financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance and support business performance through governance and stakeholder collaboration.

You will lead month-end close, reconcile the balance sheet, and partner with multiple finance workstreams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting is required.
• Fluent Dutch and English both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate financials and issues in clear business language in Dutch and English.
• Experience with external audits and IFRS/Dutch GAAP knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close to a 3-day close with journal postings and reports.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and assist with reviews for accuracy.
• Partner with finance workstreams and business teams to resolve mis-postings.
• Support external audits with schedules, documentation requests and ICO balance confirmation.
• Ensure statutory & compliance filings and alignment of US GAAP with local reporting.
• Contribute to finance projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
