HAL Allergy in Leiden, a leading biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Manager Facilities & Engineering to ensure reliable, GMP-compliant operations and cost efficiency. You will lead maintenance, calibration, validation, energy management, and major capital projects while developing a high-performance team.

You will guide engineering activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance across all facilities and utilities. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in Engineering, Facilities, or Maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, utilities, automation, maintenance systems, validation, and GMP.
• Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Facilities & Engineering team, set objectives and monitor performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance, calibration, validation, and reliability strategies.
• Manage capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring scope, budget, and quality.
• Maintain technical systems and documentation, including drawings and change records.
• Oversee energy/utility management and identify efficiency improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical parts.
• Ensure GMP, EHS, and regulatory compliance and support audits.
