The senior technology lawyer will lead interpretation of the EU AI Act, advise a global client base, and help implement compliance programs across Lenovo’s AI products and services. The role requires JD or LLM, 12 years in legal counseling, and strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills to support diverse teams and external regulators.

Qualifications

• JD or LLM and admission to practice.
• 12 years of legal counseling, drafting and negotiation experience.
• Experience interpreting legal and regulatory frameworks for advanced technology.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Understand and interpret EU AI Act requirements as they apply to Lenovo
• Work with government relations and outside counsel to engage regulators
• Assist global legal/compliance teams in developing and implementing measures
• Provide advice on EU AI Act and AI legal matters to diverse clients
• Collaborate with global legal team as a subject matter expert on AI law
• Negotiate AI-related agreements with vendors, customers, and tech partners
