Job summary

AMST Legal in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to join our growing team. You will provide senior‑level commercial and corporate advice for tech and AI focused clients, acting as interim or fractional GC when needed.

You will lead a small team of lawyers, paralegals and interns, shape our external legal model, and expand our network of specialists across data privacy, AI, corporate, tax and employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in commercial contracts or corporate law.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of Dutch law a plus.
• Based in or around Amsterdam with two fixed office days per week.
• Pragmatic, responsive and a clear communicator with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate complex SaaS, licensing and partner contracts for clients.
• Act as legal or fractional GC for Dutch and international clients.
• Lead and develop the legal team, interns and paralegals.
• Develop AMST Legal processes and AI-enabled workflows.
• Advise on corporate governance and UBO processes.
