Job summary

Holtara, part of the Apex Group, is seeking a Senior Advisor in Sustainability & ESG based in Amsterdam. This client-facing advisory role requires leading day-to-day engagements, managing relationships with investors and financial institutions, and translating ESG challenges into commercial solutions.

You will work across Holtara's ESG domains, guiding junior team members while collaborating with the Advisory Lead and Apex colleagues.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in sustainability consulting, ESG advisory, sustainable finance, or related field.
• Strong experience with financial-sector clients; independent project management and client relationships.
• Proven ability to manage engagements end-to-end and lead client-facing situations.
• Broad knowledge across ESG domains and readiness to act as a generalist.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day sustainability engagements from proposal through delivery.
• Lead client-facing situations and build trusted relationships with investors, fund managers and corporates.
• Translate sustainability challenges into practical, commercially relevant solutions.
• Guide analysts and junior colleagues to deliver high-quality work.
