Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands is seeking a Senior Consultant for ESG Assurance within the Audit & Assurance practice. You will apply sustainability reporting expertise to guide clients toward mature ESG disclosures that comply with evolving regulations.

You will collaborate with audit teams and cross-functional colleagues to deliver integrated sustainability solutions, improve reporting controls, and ensure audit readiness across client disclosures for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or Sustainability.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in audit or sustainability reporting.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Help clients navigate evolving ESG reporting regulations.
• Identify ESG risks and opportunities with clients' stakeholders.
• Align sustainability ambitions with compliant reporting frameworks.
• Advise on ESG reporting best practices and internal controls.
• Draft and review sustainability disclosures for integrated reporting and audit readiness.
• Assist audit teams in providing assurance over sustainability reporting.
