Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to oversee major capital projects in Boxmeer. You will lead high-value initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and compliance with SHE standards.

The role requires 5+ years of managing large projects, strong cross-functional leadership, and fluent English; Dutch language skills are a plus but not required. This on-site role offers flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large engineering or capital projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Extensive experience in project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and safety management.
• Strong knowledge of capital management processes, governance, and safety standards.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus but not required.
• Practical experience counts more than formal qualifications.
• Ability to work on-site in Boxmeer, full-time, with flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of high-value capital projects, ensuring objectives are met in scope, time, and budget.
• Manage and coordinate project teams and stakeholders across various departments and external partners.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle: from initial evaluation and scope development through execution and financial close.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies using lean principles and best practices.
• Ensure all projects meet safety, health, environment, and quality standards (SHE).
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams, including oversight of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and performance, communicating updates and potential issues to management.
• Implement and maintain governance, cost control, change management, and safety plans throughout project execution.
• Lead the development of strategies for complex decision-making stages and ensure compliance with company standards and external regulations.
