Job summary
IQIP is seeking a Senior Engineer – Structural Dynamics & Fatigue to lead advanced analyses of offshore equipment. You will develop simulation models, perform fatigue and dynamic analyses, and translate real-world loads into robust designs while working within a multidisciplinary team.
This role emphasizes independent, focused work on single-topic tasks with defined scope, using ANSYS and fracture mechanics to extend equipment life and improve reliability in challenging environments.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Offshore or Structural Engineering and 10+ years of fatigue, dynamics, and simulation experience.
- Proficient in fatigue, fracture mechanics, and dynamic analyses; able to develop and review simulation models.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead for standard engineering packages focusing on offshore tools.
- Perform and review fatigue and dynamic analyses on steel offshore equipment using ANSYS.
- Translate real-world loads into simulation models and optimize design to extend equipment life.
- Work independently on single-topic tasks with defined scope and boundaries; provide FEM and analytical support.
