Job summary

A leading company in engineering solutions is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Sliedrecht, Netherlands. This role involves overseeing the mechanical engineering process for complex equipment in foundation and installation projects. You will lead a team, ensure compliance with standards, and integrate innovative solutions. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering and possess at least 5 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in offshore or heavy equipment.
• Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring engineers.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and structural components.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics and structures.
• Proficient in 3D CAD; Solid Edge preferred.
• Familiar with standards and certification rules (DNV, Lloyd’s).
• Excellent Dutch and English communication.

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer at IQIP, you will guide the mechanical engineering process from concept to delivery for large and technically complex equipment used in foundation and installation projects. You will act as the main technical contact for mechanical systems, lead a team of engineers, and ensure that design solutions meet functional, safety, and quality standards. Your leadership ensures that projects are completed efficiently, with innovation and integrity, and are ready to perform in the world’s most demanding offshore environments.

Your responsibilities

Your profile
