Job summary

DPD Netherlands zoekt een Senior Employee Operations in Vijfhuizen die een sleutelrol speelt in onze 24/7 operatie. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's in inbound, outbound en sorting om dagelijks duizenden pakketten op tijd bij de klant te krijgen.

Je dagelijkse taken bestaan uit het coördineren, monitoren en ondersteunen van operationele processen, het coachen van collega’s op de vloer en het signaleren en oplossen van afwijkingen.

Qualifications

• Minimale opleiding VMBO-GL/TL/LBO of vergelijkbaar denkniveau.
• Ervaring in logistiek of operationele omgeving is vereist.
• Goede beheersing van Engels; Nederlands is een pre.

Responsibilities

• Coördineren, bewaken en ondersteunen van operationele processen in het depot.
• Collega’s op de vloer aansturen, coachen en begeleiden.
• Verwachtingen op het gebied van kwaliteit en productiviteit controleren en waar nodig bijsturen.
• Administratieve data verwerken en ondersteunen bij operationele analyses.
• Nieuwe collega’s trainen en onboarden.
• Zorgen voor naleving van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsvoorschriften.
• Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor collega's, chauffeurs en externe partners.
• Regelmatig de rol van coördinator oppakken ter ondersteuning van de Team Leader Operations.

As a Senior Employee Operations in Vijfhuizen, you play a key role within our 24/7 operation. You work closely with colleagues in inbound, outbound, and sorting processes, ensuring that thousands of parcels reach their destination on time every day.

What will you do?

A typical day consists of coordinating, monitoring, and supporting operational processes within the depot. Your responsibilities include:

• Guiding, supporting, and coaching operational colleagues on the warehouse floor.

• Monitoring parcel flows and ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

• Identifying and resolving operational deviations and process disruptions.

• Processing administrative data and supporting operational analyses.

• Training and onboarding new colleagues.

• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures.

• Acting as a point of contact for colleagues, drivers, and external partners.

In addition, you will regularly take on a coordinating role and support the Team Leader Operations where needed.

You will join an enthusiastic operational team consisting of employees, senior employees, and team leaders. Together, you process thousands of parcels every day and ensure that our customers can rely on fast and reliable delivery.

We operate a continuous shift system. During the recruitment process, we will discuss which shift pattern best suits your situation.

Example shifts include:

• 00:00 - 08:30 (Inbound)

• 23:00 - 07:30 (Inbound)

• 07:00 - 15:30 (Day Shift)

• 14:00 - 22:30 (Outbound / Support)

• 14:30 - 23:00 (Outbound)

• 16:00 - 00:30 (Shop2Shop)

What do we offer?

• A gross monthly salary between €2,517.12 and €3,574.03, depending on your knowledge and experience.

• A full-time position of 38.75 hours per week.

• Attractive shift allowances:

  • 30% between 20:00 and 24:00;

  • 45% between 00:00 and 06:00;

  • 50% on Saturdays and Sundays;

  • 100% on public holidays.

What do you bring?

• A minimum VMBO-GL/TL/LBO level of education or equivalent working and thinking level.

• At least 2 years of relevant logistics or operational experience.

• Good command of the English language is required. Dutch is considered an advantage.

• Experience with logistics processes, warehouse operations, or parcel handling.

• The ability to guide and support colleagues on the work floor.

• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to work in various shifts within a 24/7 operation.
