Job summary

bp is seeking an experienced People Relations Advisor to support Employee and Labour Relations across the Netherlands with additional Belgium coverage. Based in the Netherlands, you will partner with HRBPs and lead on ER/LR matters, work council processes, and organisational change in a multinational setting.

You will collaborate with central ER Advisory teams in Budapest and other stakeholders to develop practical policies, training, and consistent approaches, while ensuring local requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Employment Law, or a comparable field; or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in Employee/ Labour Relations, HR partnering, or similar.
• Good working knowledge of Dutch employment law and employee relations.
• Experience with works councils, unions, organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of bp's Employee and Labour Relations strategy with NL focus and Belgium support.
• Coordinate and manage employee relations matters, including performance and conduct issues and disciplinary processes.
• Advise HR Business Partners and leaders on ER topics, escalating higher-risk cases as needed.
• Analyse ER/LR issues and prepare risk assessments, options and recommendations.
• Coordinate Dutch works council consultation processes and prepare consultation materials.
• Support organisational changes including reorganisations and divestments.
• Contribute to European and global People Relations projects and best practices.
