Job summary

BP plc is seeking a People Relations Advisor with a focus on the Netherlands and support for Belgium. The role involves handling employee and labour relations matters, advising HR partners, and coordinating works council consultations within a European framework.

The successful candidate will join a cross-country team, contribute to organisational change initiatives, and support continuous improvement of People Relations processes, with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• A degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Approximately 4–7 years of relevant ER/LR experience in HR environments.
• Good working knowledge of Dutch employment law and ER/LR practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Dutch and Belgium employee and labour relations strategies and advise HR partners on ER topics.
• Coordinate works council consultations, prepare materials, and manage timelines with stakeholders.
• Support organisational change initiatives, including reorganisations and restructures, with ER considerations.
• Contribute to European and global People Relations projects and share best practices across functions.
• Develop policies, tools, and guidance for HR and business leaders and support training.
