Job summary

Trinnovo Group | B Corp™ is seeking a Software Architect to lead the architectural direction for advanced embedded systems in Delft. You will influence across embedded software, firmware, FPGA-based systems and high-level APIs, delivering scalable, high-performance platforms while staying hands-on.

You will mentor teams, translate requirements into robust technical solutions, and balance long-term strategy with practical delivery.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience, with architectural leadership
Strong background in embedded systems and low-level hardware interaction
Experience with FPGA-based systems and timing constraints
Ability to design architectures spanning from firmware to high-level APIs
Hands-on approach with prototypes and technical problem solving
Excellent communication and leadership without relying on formal authority

Responsibilities

Define architecture across firmware, embedded software, compilers, and APIs
Design scalable systems to avoid major rewrites
Establish interfaces, abstractions, standards and patterns
Lead cross-functional engineering teams and translate requirements into solutions
Troubleshoot complex problems across software, firmware and hardware
Mentor engineers and drive sound architectural decisions
