Clear is seeking an accomplished Electrical Contracts Manager to own the commercial and contractual lifecycle of electrical packages on hyperscale data centre builds in Amsterdam, on-site. The role covers procurement, valuation of variations, and dispute resolution, with a focus on risk management and financial governance.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in electrical contracts within major construction or data centre projects, plus EU passport eligibility for on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (QS/Engineering/CM).
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in electrical contracts management on major construction/data centre projects.
• Proven track record negotiating high-value electrical subcontracts and commercial agreements.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, FIDIC and Dutch/EU construction law.
• Experience with cost forecasting, variation pricing, and financial reporting for large projects.
• Solid understanding of electrical power distribution, generators, UPS, and MEP infra.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
• EU passport holder and availability for on-site rotation in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial and contractual lifecycle of electrical packages for hyperscale data centre builds.
• Draft, negotiate, and administer subcontractor and supply contracts aligned with budgets.
• Track financial performance, cash flow, variations, and final accounts.
• Implement governance, risk management, and claims mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with electrical construction managers, QS, client leads, and legal advisors.
• Ensure adherence to milestones, payments, and contract forms.
• Lead commercial reviews, progress updates, and subcontractor evaluations.
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and audit trails.
