Job summary

ASafe Global is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to support a major data centre project in Groningen, Netherlands. This is a 12-month rolling contract providing leadership on safety performance with site teams and contractors.

Key qualifications include 7+ years of EHS experience, main contractor exposure, and Dutch project experience. Fluent English is required, and a valid visa/work permit for the Netherlands is necessary.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EHS experience in construction or similar environments.
• Experience leading EHS activities on behalf of a main contractor.
• Experience on projects in the Netherlands is essential.
• Data centre or life sciences project experience desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all site health and safety activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, client requirements, and industry best practices.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions where required.
• Work closely with project teams and contractors to improve safety performance.
• Provide leadership on all EHS matters throughout the project lifecycle.
