Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Leiden, Netherlands seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead the site’s EH&S program and regulatory compliance. You will partner with site management to drive safety culture, ensure ISO 14001 and regulatory adherence, and guide a team of EH&S professionals.

You will oversee risk assessment, incident investigations, and corporate EH&S standards, while coordinating with regulatory agencies and driving continuous improvement across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in EH&S is preferred.
• 12+ years of EH&S experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Leiden, Netherlands site in developing a culture of safety and ownership of safety systems.
• Provide technical leadership for campus EH&S programs and regulatory compliance.
• Own establishment and improvement of EH&S risk management processes.
• Support audits, regulatory reporting, and ISO 14001 certification maintenance.
• Mentor and develop EH&S staff and manage team performance.
