Job summary

Kite Pharma, Inc. seeks an MD/PhD-level MSAT leader to shape site strategy and governance for biopharma manufacturing. You will build and guide a senior technical team, drive technology transfer, and oversee validation, quality, and regulatory readiness to ensure robust operations.

You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development to deliver lifecycle and continuous improvement goals in a complex, global environment.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS in science or engineering with biopharma manufacturing experience.
• Significant leadership experience in GMP environments.
• Experience in technology transfer and process development.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and validation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute MSAT site strategy, budget, and governance aligned with global priorities.
• Build and lead an inclusive organization of managers and senior technical leaders.
• Lead governance, risk decisions for manufacturing support, and investigations.
• Oversee investigations, CAPAs, and process improvements on the shop floor.
• Manage technology transfer, qualification, and post-transfer performance.
• Govern validation lifecycle and use data science to improve metrics.
• Set MSAT lab direction, data integrity, and manufacturing integration.
• Prepare regulatory content and respond to inquiries and inspections.
• Represent site priorities in global forums across functions.
• Sponsor cross-site initiatives for excellence and competitiveness.
