Monks is seeking a Senior Director, Strategy – Brand & Creative to lead the Brand Strategy discipline within a highly collaborative, AI-forward organization. The role focuses on building breakthrough brand platforms that translate into integrated campaigns, launches, and customer touchpoints across geographies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on Brand Planning or Creative Strategy in award-winning agencies.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership role with global brand work.
• Experience leading on high-stakes campaigns (Super Bowl, Olympics, global launches).
• Ability to translate complex data into simple, compelling brand ideas.
• Proven track record in winning new business and leading strategic pitches.
• Experience mentoring and developing strategy teams and leading cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of foundational brand strategy, architecture, and positioning globally.
• Drive strategic vision for high-visibility campaigns and major product launches.
• Partner with Group Creative Directors and guide briefs through execution.
• Monitor cultural trends and bring insights into brand work.
• Mentor three brand strategists and elevate the Brand Strategy discipline.
• Engage senior marketing leaders, identify opportunities, and contribute to pitches.
• Collaborate with media, data, and AI teams to translate brand into full-funnel experiences.
