Job summary

Arηs Group in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, maintain and improve CI/CD platforms and associated infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. You will work with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform and Puppet, drive automation, support deployment pipelines, and provide training and guidance to development teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of IT experience with CI/CD platforms.
At least 3 years in Azure DevOps Server administration.
At least 2 years deploying apps on Kubernetes environments.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Certifications in Kubernetes or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, maintain and improve CI/CD platforms and supporting infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
Review and update application and infrastructure designs for scalability, security and performance.
Design, maintain and improve Kubernetes-based deployment platforms (Azure, Rancher/RKE2).
Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines, templates and automation solutions for delivery.
Create and maintain automation scripts for build, release, deployment and operations.
Package and deploy apps using Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment mechanisms.
Ensure repeatable and reliable deployment processes across environments.
Administer, maintain and upgrade CI/CD platform components and build agents.
Provide support and guidance to development teams on CI/CD usage and deployment processes.
Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer on CI/CD tools and platform capabilities.
Collect, analyse and report platform metrics (cycle time, uptime, error rates).
