Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for Digital Assets Services in the Netherlands. You will design and operate backend services, CI/CD pipelines, and platform integrations that support custody, trading and tokenisation of digital assets.

Join a small, specialized team building a greenfield digital asset platform within a major bank. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, AWS/Azure, OpenShift and Kubernetes in a hybrid setup, contributing to secure, scalable production systems.

Qualifications

Seven+ years as software engineer or similar.
Experience designing distributed systems and API/SaaS integrations in enterprise environments.
Hands-on with AWS or Azure, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
Experience deploying workloads on OpenShift-based platforms.
Experience operating Linux across cloud and on-premise.
Experience supporting production services with observability and incident management.
Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
Strong analytical skills and ability to own solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop backend services, APIs and integrations for digital asset custody, trading, payments and transactions.
Integrate platforms like Fireblocks and Trever into Rabobank's tech environment.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployments; integrate with core banking systems.
Implement secure transaction signing and cryptographic key management.
Improve observability, reliability and incident management in production; guide engineering practices.
