Job summary

Online Payment Platform in Delft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and own our AWS-based infrastructure, not just operate it. You’ll influence architecture and drive scalability for billions in yearly transactions, with in-house systems and a GitLab CI/CD pipeline.

We value builders who can craft cloud solutions from scratch, own critical CI/CD and release processes, and champion automation, monitoring, and performance. A hybrid work model and a modern office in Delft await you.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• You’ve designed and owned AWS infrastructure in production.
• You have experience with high-traffic, mission-critical platforms.
• Deep knowledge of automation and infrastructure design.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, AWS, Monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus and Grafana), Terraform (or CloudFormation) and Kubernetes preferred.
• Ability to keep infrastructure stable, scalable, secure, and performant.
• You understand application testing and system dependability.

Unlike traditional roles where you're maintaining someone else's infrastructure, you'll be designing and maintaining everything from scratch. Our secret? You’ll be working with a sophisticated AWS environment that combines EC2 instances and Kubernetes clusters, backed by MySQL, OpenSearch, and Redis. Think scalable GitLab CI/CD, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and Lambda functions - all powering billions in yearly transactions.

Depending on your expertise and interests, you’ll dive into:

• Designing and implementing cloud solutions from scratch

Your track record tells us

• An all-in annual salary between €55.000 and €100.000
