Online Payment Platform in Delft is seeking a Medior PHP Developer to help build and improve our core platform. You’ll work on real features used daily by millions, improving stability and scalability as we grow. You’ll be hands-on with coding, improve services, and help build new ones.

You’ll collaborate with more experienced engineers in an agile team covering payments, onboarding, and platform reliability, taking ownership and delivering concrete solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of PHP and MySQL experience building stable, well-performing systems.
• Ability to build and ship features in Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience on high-traffic platforms, APIs, or service-based architectures.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Docker, caching, queues, optimization and scalability.
• Curious, eager to learn, and take ownership of your work.
• Based around Delft office and willing to work in a hybrid setup.

As a Medior PHP Developer at OPP, you will play an important role in building and improving our core platform. You’ll work on real features that are used daily by millions of users, while making sure our systems stay stable and scalable as we grow. You’ll be hands‑on with coding, improving existing services, and helping to build new ones. At the same time, you’ll work closely with more experienced engineers to learn, challenge ideas, and make technical decisions together. You’ll be part of one of our agile teams, working on topics like payments, onboarding, and platform reliability. We expect you to take ownership of your work, think in solutions, and contribute to improving how we build and ship software as a team.

Some of the projects you’ll be part of

• Build new in‑platform payment flows that move money in ways traditional e‑commerce never had to.
• Level up onboarding and compliance, making it faster for users and stricter where it counts.
• Break big systems into clean microservices that stay fast when traffic hits across Europe and the UK.
• Create the APIs and tools platforms need to grow without waiting on us.

Your Track Record Shows

• You have 3-7 years experience with PHP and MySQL and know how to build stable, well‑performing systems.
• You can build and ship features in Laravel or Symfony.
• You have worked on high‑traffic platforms, APIs, or service‑based architectures.
• CI/CD, Docker, caching, queues, optimization, and scalability are familiar to you.
• You are curious and eager to learn, and you enjoy growing your skills over time.
• You take ownership of your work and think in solutions, not just tasks.
• You are currently based around our Delft office.

• An all‑in annual salary up to €80,000
