Job summary

Roundr is seeking a cloud-focused Infra/DevOps Engineer to design, manage, and scale our AWS-based SaaS platform from Amsterdam. You will work on containerized apps, serverless components, and secure networking in a fast-moving startup environment.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Linux/Ubuntu, Kubernetes, and NodeJS, plus a passion for innovation, AI-enabled engineering, and scalable infrastructure.

Location: Amsterdam / hybrid (3 days from the office, 2 days from hoe)

Salary: 80 to 95k (+ other benefits)

Our client is seeking a dedicated, cloud-focused Infra / DevOps Engineer to design, manage, and scale their AWS-based SaaS platform. The ideal candidate has experience with Docker, serverless (Lambda), networking (VPC/firewalls), and k8s, with a focus on high-quality, secure, and innovative (AI-embracing) engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design:Build and deliver scalable solutions for growing traffic.
• AWS Management:Configure networking (VPC, subnets, firewalls, VPNs) and manage containerized applications.
• Security & Compliance:Implement best practices for system security.

Required Skills & Experience

• Core Technical Skills:AWS, Docker, Linux/Ubuntu, k8s, NodeJS.
• Experience:Proven experience in scaling containerized apps and serverless architecture.
• Startup/Scaleup mindset: A self-starter, someone who doesn't need a script or a way of working, but brings us new insights and learnings.
• Innovator: You have to be up to date with the latest developments. If AI is not your thing and you like to stay traditional, this is not for you.
